Rachel (she/hers) is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LSW) who is working towards certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is also certified as a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC). She graduated from University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work in 2020 with a concentration on mental health and a certificate in Social Work with the Latinx Community. Rachel has experience working with those experiencing chemical dependency, mental health barriers, co-occurring disorders, and survivors of trauma and crime. She is excited for the opportunity to blend her experience in science and research with her knowledge of counseling to support our community in decreasing stigma and finding hope and healing. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, drawing, hiking, and taking care of her many, many houseplants.
